Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst

2008

In this video installation a modern dancer and a graffiti artist are seen collaborating in order to achieve a common language and imagery.
A 3m x 2m wall of Plexiglas is placed between the two. The dancer moves to the sounds of the spray can and the painter tracks the movement of the dancer with the spray paint, until there is no visibility through the wall. The wall of Plexiglas and the actors were filmed from both sides of the interfering wall. The title "Ich Sehe was, du nichst siehst" (I spy with my little eye) is taken from a German child's play and at the same time it is a reference to the relationship between the two actors and the spectator.
